Understanding the 4Cs

The beauty and value of a diamond are defined by four core characteristics: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat.

Cut

Cut is the most important of the 4Cs. It determines how brilliantly a diamond reflects light: how it sparkles, glows, and comes to life. At ANANTA, we only recommend diamonds with Triple Excellent (Excellent in Cut, Polish, and Symmetry), ensuring each stone offers maximum brilliance and balance.

Carat Weight

Carat measures the diamond’s weight. While it can influence the size, it’s only one part of the overall picture. A well-cut, smaller carat diamond may appear larger and more brilliant than a heavier one with poor proportions. At ANANTA, we help you look beyond just weight: toward overall beauty and value.

Color

Diamonds are graded from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). At ANANTA, we recommend diamonds between D to I from the purest colorless to near-colorless stones, so you can enjoy a timeless look with exceptional clarity to the eye.

Clarity

Clarity refers to the internal and external characteristics of a diamond. For a truly pristine appearance, we recommend diamonds graded IF (Internally Flawless) to VS1 (Very slightly Included 1). These stones are eye-clean and hold their brilliance under close inspection, without visible inclusions.

Diamond Shapes

Shape is one of the first choices you will make, and often the most emotional one. While the Round Brilliant remains the most classic and radiant, modern favorites like Oval and Cushion bring softness and elegance. Emerald and Asscher cuts create an architectural impression with step-cut facets that emphasize clarity. For a bold yet romantic expression, Radiant, Pear, and Marquise shapes offer elongation and distinctive character.

Each shape reflects light in its own way, and some may appear larger than others of the same carat weight. Let your style and emotion guide your choice, for shape is where personality truly shines.

Types of Diamonds: Natural vs. Lab

Diamonds come from two different origins: natural and lab: but both are real diamonds with identical physical, chemical, and optical properties. The main difference lies in how they are formed: natural diamonds are born in the Earth over billions of years, while lab diamonds are created in high-tech labs using advanced scientific processes.

Both are made of carbon atoms arranged in a crystal lattice, both are graded by the same standards, and both sparkle with stunning beauty. Your choice depends on your values: rarity and tradition or innovation and sustainability.

Natural Diamonds

Natural diamonds are timeless treasures formed deep within the Earth’s mantle under immense pressure and heat. Each one is a geological wonder: billions of years old, naturally rare, and entirely unique. No two are ever the same.

At ANANTA, we offer only GIA- or HRD-certified natural diamonds that are responsibly sourced and conflict-free. These diamonds carry a sense of history, permanence, and emotional significance that many couples treasure for engagement rings, heirlooms, and life’s most meaningful moments.

Lab Diamonds

Lab diamonds are created using either CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) or HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) methods that replicate Earth’s natural diamond-forming conditions. The result is a real diamond: indistinguishable from natural diamonds to the naked eye and even to most tools without advanced testing.

At ANANTA, we use only top-grade lab diamonds with high color (D–F), excellent clarity (VS+), and excellent cut. Lab diamonds allow for stunning quality and sustainable values at a more accessible price, making them ideal for modern luxury jewelry without compromise.

The World of Colored Diamonds

Colored diamonds are among the rarest natural gemstones: and the most expressive. Their hues are caused by trace elements or natural crystal distortions during formation. For example, blue diamonds contain boron, yellow diamonds contain nitrogen, and red diamonds get their vivid color from atomic lattice distortion. These colors occur in less than 0.1% of natural diamonds, making them extraordinarily valuable.

At ANANTA, we bring this dreamlike beauty to life through lab-grown colored diamonds, making exquisite hues like red, blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple more accessible: while maintaining superior color saturation, clarity, and ethical origins.

The ANANTA Diamond Selection

Because Not All Diamonds Are Created Equal

Every diamond at ANANTA is carefully hand selected and graded to meet our own uncompromising standards.

Each certified diamond we offer has already passed this meticulous curation, the mark of what we call an ANANTA Premium Diamond.

We go beyond traditional grading. Every ANANTA Premium Diamond must meet five uncompromising criteria:

Only diamonds certified by the world’s most respected gemological institutes.

Exceptional Light Performance

Each diamond is selected for its perfect balance of proportion and polish, ensuring brilliance that meets our highest standard, from excellent rounds to the most exquisite fancy shapes.

None Fluorescence

Fluorescence can cause cloudiness in natural light and reduce long-term value. We only select diamonds with zero fluorescence.

No visible inclusions to the naked eye, ensuring flawless beauty in every moment.

Beyond Ethical Diamonds

Chosen with care, reflecting integrity, compassion, and the beauty of responsible craftsmanship.
