Every diamond sold by Ananta must be certified by GIA, the most widely-accepted institution in the world for their high diamond evaluation standards. Unlike other retailers, Ananta only offer premium diamonds that range from D-I in colour and FL – VS1 in clarity.
We truly believe that our premium grade diamonds must be clear and have minimal or no flaws, barely visible even when seen under a 10x level microscope.

All Ananta Premium Diamonds must go through careful inspection and evaluations to receive a 3-Excellent grading, which is the highest premium grade for diamonds. This quality can be inspected on Cut Grade, Polish, and Symmetry in the accompanying GIA certificate of each diamond.

Fluorescence refers to the chemical that makes diamonds glow. Diamonds with high fluorescence are cloudier than diamonds without fluorescence. None of Ananta’s Premium Diamonds have fluorescence, a property that is indicated on each GIA certificate.
Hearts & Arrows diamonds are diamonds with the best and most elegant sparkles and edges. However, not every 3-Excellent diamond is a Heart & Arrows diamond nor do they have same radiance and glistening brilliance as of a heart and arrow diamond. For example, some diamonds may have Arrows that are too thick or too thin, while others may have Hearts that are too small or too big which plays an immense role in a diamond's beautiful glare.
Ananta’s meticulous standards ensure that every 3-Excellent diamonds are symmetrically polished with clear Hearts & Arrows.
Within each diamond in various positions, there are flaws that vary in their level of visibility. For example, diamonds flaws that are classified as Indented Natural or Feather have cracks that are more visible than those classified as Pinpoint, which are small bubbles. The least damaging type of flaws in diamonds are Pinpoint, Needle, and Cloud. However, within each diamond there may possibly posses more than one type of flaw.
The size and the number of flaws within each diamond are taken in to account. For example, 2 diamonds that are the same grade may have flaws that are different in size, capacity or position results in direct valuation of the particular diamond. Diamonds with smaller and fewer marks are of course rarer than those with bigger and more numerous marks.
The positioning of a diamond flaw is also crucially important. Diamond flaws that are on the the table surface or center of a diamond are more noticeable than those that are on the edges of the diamond.
Ananta Premium Diamonds do not have any type of Graining whether it be Internal Graining or Surface Graining, which are stated in the comments section on all GIA certificates.
Each type of mark is either colourless or colored. For example, black-marked diamonds are easier to notice and have lesser value than equivalent colourless-marked diamonds. A GIA certificate does not specify the color of the mark, which can only be inspected through loupe or microscope.
Generally, diamonds are colourless and are rarely yellowish. The GIA also grades the intensity of each color. Many diamonds have a light-brown shade instead of a yellow shade, which inevitably make these diamonds more noticeable and consequently lead to greater discounts on their prices.
For Fancy shape diamonds, their GIA certificate only specifies Polish and Symmetry, whereas for Round diamonds, their GIA certificate also specifies Cut and Grade. Therefore, the highest grade for Fancy shape diamonds may obtain are 2-Excellent. Globally, 2-Excellent Fancy Diamonds are rarer than 3-Excellent Round diamonds.
At Ananta, only 2-Excellent Fancy shape Premium diamonds are available for sale, nothing less than the very best.
Each diamond shape has its own uniquely beautiful characteristics. For example, the beauty of a Heart Shaped diamond lies in its proportionate size, its body being not too wide or too long, whereas a Princess cut diamond is beautiful when all of its sides are of equal in width and its depth is not too deep or too shallow.
Ananta Premium fancy diamonds have the perfect proportion for each diamond shape, and are well known for their bright sparkle and elegance that outshine any other fancy diamonds.
