1. Ask for an Independent Grading Report

A report from an independent lab such as GIA is an unbiased assessment of quality. It states the 4Cs and confirms whether the diamond is natural or laboratory-grown.

A certificate issued by the store itself is not the same.

ANANTA Tip: Every ANANTA center diamond comes with a GIA certificate.

2. Match the Inscription to the Report

GIA-graded diamonds often carry the report number laser-inscribed on the girdle, visible under 10x magnification.

Enter that number in GIA Report Check to confirm the details match.

ANANTA Tip: Every ANANTA diamond is laser-inscribed. Ask our team to show you through a loupe at the boutique.

3. Diamond Prices Follow a Standard

Diamond prices follow market references. When two diamonds of similar grades differ greatly in price, their details usually differ.

Common differences include cut proportions, fluorescence, the position of inclusions and the grading lab. If a price is much lower, ask exactly what is different.

ANANTA Tip: ANANTA diamonds meet five Premium criteria, including Excellent cut, no fluorescence and eye-clean clarity.

4. Get Everything in Writing

Your receipt should list what the seller told you: carat weight, grade, metal and report number.

Always ask for exchange, resizing and after-sales terms in writing.

ANANTA Tip: Every piece includes after-sales service and our Trade-In Program, subject to conditions.

5. Beware of Deals That Seem Too Good

Prices far below market, pressure to decide now or promises of resale profit deserve a closer look.

In Bangkok, be wary of strangers or drivers who offer to take you to a gem shop for a special discount. Choose a store with a permanent boutique, genuine reviews and gemologists who answer clearly.
