A memorable proposal does not need to be grand, but it should feel like the two of you.
This guide helps you prepare with confidence, from the ring to the moments after the yes.
1. Have the Ring Ready
Choose your ring early, as made-to-order rings take around 1 to 8 weeks.
To find the size in secret, borrow a ring your partner wears often and bring it to our team, or measure its inner diameter yourself. Visiting Bangkok? You can order ahead and collect when you arrive.
ANANTA Tip: Gold and platinum rings include two complimentary resizings within two years, subject to conditions.
2. Choose a Place That Means Something
The best place is often one with your story: where you first met, a favourite restaurant or a trip you have been waiting for.
Think about your partner’s style too. Some prefer a private moment, others love family and friends nearby.
3. Add Your Personal Touch
Engrave names or a special date inside the ring, or print a message of up to 20 characters on the ribbon.
You can also write a private note in our Secret Message card, revealed only by gently scratching it.

4. Capture the Moment
Ask a close friend or a photographer to capture it discreetly, so you can be fully present.
Prepare a few heartfelt words, and check the ring is in its box before you leave.
5. After the Yes
If the ring needs adjusting, visit any of our boutiques for a fitting.
Then start thinking about a wedding ring that sits beautifully beside the engagement ring.
